About the bursary

The 2010 Scape Shapes Construction Bursary is open to students commencing their second year of full-time study in the Bachelor of Urban Development (Construction Management) or Bachelor of Urban Development (Quantity Surveying) courses at the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) in 2010.

The recipient will also be encouraged to undertake paid work experience with Scape Shapes during the bursary year and vacation periods. This work experience is not conditional to the bursary and would be paid separately by Scape Shapes.

In addition, Scape Shapes may choose to continue the bursary into the 3rd and 4th years of the student’s undergraduate study. If this occurs, the student would be expected to remain within the same discipline and be proceeding satisfactorily and maintain a full-time enrolment.

Selection will be based on personal and educational achievements, leadership qualities including communication skills and aptitude, writing and mathematical skills, ability with spatial concepts (reading plans and visualising what’s drawn), ability to think on your feet, ability to speak and be understood, practical knowledge and physical work experience.

Application closing date

Applications for the 2010 Scape Shapes Construction Bursary are open until 5pm, Monday 15 March, 2010. Late applications will not be accepted.
