Assignment extension request
These rules apply to the submission of assignments only and not to examinations.
Students should always approach their unit coordinator/lecturer/tutor to discuss assignment issues as a courtesy and to ensure that an assignment extension is appropriate.
- Students enrolled in a unit within the Faculty of Built Environment and Engineering who are seeking an extension for an assignment must complete an Assignment Extension Request Form
- This form and all supporting documentation (such as a Medical Certificate, or a letter from a counsellor) must be lodged at a Faculty of Built Environment and Engineering Student Service Counter.
- School of Design, D Block, Level 1, GP
- School of Urban Development, L Block, Level 2, GP
- School of Engineering Systems, S Block, Level 10, GP
- Tel: (07) 3138 1433
- Email: bee.enquiries@qut.edu.au
- Counters are normally open between 9.00am and 5.00pm. Check locally for details.
- Students will be notified by email of the outcome of their request.
- Students must attach email notification (Item 3 above) to their assignment upon submission.
Please note:
The Faculty of Built Environment and Engineering has Policy and Procedures for Asssignment Extensions
Please consider the attached guidelines to ensure you meet the criteria and attach the appropriate supporting documentation.
