The Resource Centre is a work area located on Level 1 D Block, Gardens Point Campus for students in the Faculty of Built Environment and Engineering.

Facilities

Work spaces

Group work tables, light tables, laptop ports.

Equipment for use in the Centre

Binders, photocopiers, guillotine, trimmer, hole punchers, staplers, adhesive tape dispensers.

Equipment to borrow

• Laptops, digital cameras, portable A4 scanners
• Voice recorders, calculators
• Measuring tapes, stop watches
• T-squares, set squares, protractors, French curves sets
• Cutting mats, Stanley knives
• Stationery (glue, scissors), rulers (steel and scale)
• Extension cords, power boards, trolleys.

Large format printing

A large format printer is available for printing of AO, A1 and A2 work. Work can be sent to the printer from a BEE computer laboratory. See the Centre staff for instructions on file setup, sending files to print, and printing prices. A print job will be released by Centre staff upon display of your student identification card at the Centre.

Opening Hours

Borrowing concludes, items must be returned by, and printing must be finished and paid for 30 minutes before closing time.
