University Wide Unit Sets offer options not offered by the BEE Faculty.

Selections for Non-BEE majors and minors must be part of an approved University Wide Unit Set. Random units will not be approved without consultation and approval from the Course Coordinator.

Second Major/Minor Approval Form

Second Major/Minor Approval forms for Non-BEE second major or minor selections must be completed and submitted to Student Services counter.

You will be advised via email if your selection is approved.

Enrolling in your Non-BEE second major on QUT Virtual

Non-BEE second majors should select EXM Non-BEE Major B on QUT Virtual.

Enrolling in a Non-BEE minor on QUT Virtual

Non-BEE minors should select EXA Non-BEE Minor 1 &/or EXB Non-BEE Minor 2 on QUT Virtual.

Applying for Advanced Standing for a Non-BEE second major/minor

Advanced standing (academic credit) may be awarded for a Non-BEE second major or minor. You can receive a maximum of 48 credit points based on equivalent 2 years full time study of a Bachelor Degree at an approved institution. If you have not completed the requirements of a full unit set, you will need to seek advice from your Course Coordinator or Subject Area Coordinator to determine the units that can be used as credit for part of the unit set, and what units you need to undertake to complete the unit set.

If you are applying for advanced standing for your Non-BEE second major/minor you still need to get approval for your Non-BEE option.

An Application for Advanced Standing needs to be submitted as per the usual process. Complete and submit the AS form via the Student Centre. You will be advised via Student Business Services if your application is approved.

Remember, your enrolment is your responsibility. Be sure to get it right. If you have questions ask at your local BEE Student Services counter or email bee.enquiries@qut.edu.au.
