Some BEE students enrolled in DE40, EN40 & UD40 have the opportunity to include either a second major (Major B) or two minors as part of their course.

Your Options

Can I do a second major or minor(s)? 

You must check your Course Summary Sheet. Your Course Summary Sheet will tell you what you can and can't do. Different courses have different options.

Rules

Are there rules around enrolling in second major & minor(s)?

Yes. If you are a BEE student you must consult the Study Rules.

If you are a student from another QUT Faculty, you must comply with the rules around your course.

Why do it

Why should I do a second major or minor(s)?

Selecting a second major or minor(s) allows you to tailor your course to suit your own interests or career aspirations, or to pursue a project of special significance to you or of relevance to your profession.

This is your opportunity to develop skills that will help to distinguish you from other graduates.
