[Print-friendly version] Welcome to the Research Portfolio Office The Research Portfolio Office is located at Gardens Point Campus in O Block. Office Hours Main office Level 7 Room O706 8.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 4.00pm Friday Reception desk Level 4 Room O401 9.00am to 12noon and 2.00pm to 4.00pm Monday to Friday Staff located in the Portfolio Office are the Office Coordinator, Research Support Officers and the Theme Coordinators for Design, Infrastructure and Smart Systems. The Theme Coordinator for Medical Engineering is located in the IHBI building at Kelvin Grove Campus but staff and students located at Gardens Point should continue to make contact through the Research Portfolio Office. Staff have specific responsibilities across the research activities of the Faculty. Staff Responsibility Areas Research Office Coordinator Diane Kolomeitz Coordinates and facilitates the activities of the Research Portfolio Office Maintains the PPR and leave processes for the office staff Represents the Research Portfolio on Faculty committees Research Management Committee (Secretary) Operations Network Committee Equity Committee HDR Students Society Committee Facilitates the use of student and researcher accounts for reimbursement purposes Liaises with the Resources Portfolio on the provision of adequate space and resources for postgraduate students Student Team Tiziana La Mendola Assists the Faculty administrative processes for postgraduate research students Maintains office processes Kathryn Pinel Assists the Faculty administrative processes for postgraduate research students Maintains local databases for research administration Creates data reports for research purposes Maintains space and key registers Maintains the Research Portfolio component of the BEE Website Represents Research Portfolio at Building meetings as an O Block Floor Warden Elaine Reyes Assists the Faculty administrative processes for postgraduate research students Administers the postgraduate research scholarships processes for the Faculty Represents Research Portfolio at Building meetings as an O Block Floor Warden Theme Coordinators Keryn Gray Coordinates the activities of the Infrastructure Research Theme Organises conference travel for students of the theme Coordinates the collection and data input for the HERDC (publications collection) Represents Research Portfolio at the Faculty Health and Safety committee as a Workplace Health and Safety Officer Rosie Meaton Coordinates the activities of the Design Research Theme Organises conference travel for students of the theme Coordinates the Grants process for the Faculty Maintains the Researcher Staff Profiles on the Web Christine Percy Coordinates the activities of the Smart Systems Research Theme Organises conference travel for students of the theme Maintains the database of Supervisor Accreditation and coordinates the Faculty accreditation process Represents Research Portfolio at Building meetings as an O Block Floor Warden Deborah Whiting Coordinates the activities of the Medical Engineering Research Theme Coordinates administrative functions for the researchers of the Medical Device Domain Contact Us Office contacts Details for all staff in the Research Portfolio Office.   See also For research students Information on choosing a topic, finding a supervisor, starting research study and much more for future and current postgraduate research students.
