[Print-friendly version]

Research Themes have conducted student conferences since their inception in 2005. The conferences have a research specific theme with conference organisers deciding on a title and keynote speaker specific to their research area. However students from all themes are encouraged to submit papers on their individual research topics.

Students of IHBI have seperate conferences which also include students from the Faculties of Science and Health who are members of IHBI. This year's IHBI Postgraduate Student Conference will be held at the Gold Coast on Thursday, 4th December, and Friday, 5th December.  For further information on this conference email Stacey Chandler on s.chandler@qut.edu.au.

Past conferences and organisers have been:

  • 2008 Design (Aug/September): Simon Lawry, Cara Wrigley
  • 2007 Smart Systems (September): Duncan Greer, Pritesh Narayan
  • 2006 Infrastructure (October): Henry Shih, Archai Sirikijpanichkul
