The SPR is the latest incarnation of a research group created in 1991, at the Queensland University of Technology in Brisbane, Australia. Professor Boualem Boashash is its foundation director. The mission of the SPR is to undertake fundamental research in Time-Frequency Signal Processing and Multiscale Signal Processing with applications to selected real world problems.
