  • November 2005 - TIE Director Gilbert Clark selected as a laureate by the Tech Museum in the education category for his work with the Telescopes In Education program.
  • November 2004 → present - final configuration of weather station and telescopes for fully automated operation of facility. Complete functionality expected late 2005.
  • September 2004 - received second robotic mount, expanding observatory capabilities to two independently operated telescopes.
