Through collaboration with government, and local and global companies, we can make a positive difference to people's lives.

In particular, we seek deep value from collaborations that offer quality results to partners and deliver opportunities to integrate research, teaching and scholarship.

We seek to identify and respond to community needs through a profound level of engagement.

The Faculty also leads and/or contributes to several University Research Institutes and Initiatives, including the Institute of Health and Biomedical Innovation, the Information Security Institute, the Institute of Creative Industries and Innovation and the Institute for Sustainable Resources.

Contract research collaborations which involve commercialisation of QUT intellectual property, technology transfer or QUT intellectual property transactions are managed by qutbluebox, the commercialisation company for QUT.
