The School has over 22 full-time academic staff, 250 part-time academic staff and 1000 students. This unique combination of disciplines offers students and staff an outstanding opportunity Landscape Architecture student exercisefor collaboration and innovative interdisciplinary design and research.

We seek to maintain the identity of all of the disciplines whilst taking advantage of the exciting possibilities which are presented by their combination. Our focus is developing a vigorous design culture within and through the undergraduate, postgraduate and higher degree programs. In addition we are committed to further developing work integrated learning and the internationalisation of our programs as well as embedding the new digital technologies within the teaching and research frameworks of the various disciplines in the school.

Other strengths of the School of Design include:
