What we can do

  • Fix anything that goes wrong with your computer, and stops you from working, either:
    • when you call/ email (for QUT software-type issues); or
    • through allocating a computer systems officer to your problem.
  • Setup and maintain network-connected printers in BEE staff areas.
  • Purchase, maintain computers for staff within a 3 year rollover cycle.
  • Purchase, maintain postgraduate research computers identified by the Research Portfolio.
  • Install software onto computers (subject to licensing).
  • Maintain a network personal workspace that is only accessible to you (and IT staff for support purposes).
  • Provide access to shared faculty file servers and networks, and ensure these are backed up.
  • Provide access to BEE servers off-campus via QUT SAS Client.
